Cru Specialty Dessert Wine with Toasted CaramelThe best way I can describe this wine is the word ‘yummy’! I will often serve Cru Specialty Dessert Wine with Toasted Caramel with chocolate’s or other desserts at the end of a meal when we have guests over. It has never failed to be a hit and I often find myself sending our friends home with a bottle to enjoy.

This wine is intensely creamy and is pleasantly sweet but not overpoweringly sweet. It is a full-bodied dessert wine and there is no mistaking the rich caramel aroma with the robust flavors of red fruit. The buttery caramel notes give this wine a roundness and texture on the palate that is perfectly balanced with rich toasted notes on the finish.

This is a sipping wine and not one that you would typically sit around drinking by the glass. It’s in my inventory for another batch to get underway soon. Note that this kit produces 3 gallons of wine, not the 6 gallons you get with a typical wine kit. Best bottled in 375ML bottles. I have found that once its opened, you don’t need to rush to finish it as open bottles keep well.
